Key AW12 Trends for Jack.

So, now its definately getting colder its time to consider a change of wardrobe ready for Autumn/Winter. Also, as many of you may know I'm a keen lover of Next clothes. I love the fabrics, the way they wash and wear and also they are comfortable and very on trend. Its one of very few places I can get trendy clothes for my baby too.  I noticed over on Next they are looking for Guest Bloggers so thought I would join in. To enter and join in all you have to do is answer one of three questions.
What are your five key pieces for the AW12 season and why?
I think its key for younger children to be kept warm as they are still unable to control their own body temperature well, so I always ensure to have lots of layers for Jack so we can try our best to keep him an ideal temperature at all time. Also with the winter months coming up, its important that due to risk of snow to be prepared. There are so many lovely things in Next's current collection that I love for Jack this season however, I have picked 5 key things which I think are lovely and important to have this season.
I love this long sleeved top that is currently in the collection. Not only because it has my lovely boys name on, but the long sleeves are perfect for the colder days, and is still very trendy also having a lovely fabric. I believe long sleeves are very useful in the current season as when indoors it saves placing a jumper on your child.
Jeans are perfect in all seasons for keeping you warm, and especially during autumn/winter. They are always on trend so perfect for all year use if you are on a tight budget. The thing I love about these one is they have an elasticated waist, and lovely cords which have a wintery feel to them. They are also lined on the inside.
Jumpers are key during the autumn winter season as they are a perfect way to keep you warm if you get a little chilly. I especially love this one from Next as it has a lovely hood and is very on trend. There are many different styles available, and this style is available in other colours.
Wellingtons are always a key trend during winter months, especially when snow is expected. They are a perfect way to keep your childs feet warm, and a perfect savourer when playing in the snow. Next have a varied range of wellies available, but I really love the knitted design on these. At present Jack is unable to walk only being 7 months old, however these would be a key purchase if I was.
Finally, the key part to an autumn winter wardrobe for a child, especially of a young age in my eyes is a Snowsuit. I think all toddlers look cute within a snowsuit but especially younger babies. There is a wide variety of snowsuits available, including footless ones for children who are able to walk around and wear shoes. I especially love this one from Next as I think it is a lovely, style and love the shoulder pad design which it includes.

I have wrote this blog post as an entry into the Next Guest Blogger Competition.
