Cheeky Harry Loves... Book Review

Recently Jack and I were given a wonderful opportunity to review a new pre-school book called 'Cheeky Harry Loves...' by Laura Payne. This is the first book in the series from Cheeky Harry and Friends.

'Cheeky Harry Loves...' is aimed at under-fives. It is a board book with 10 pages in total. Harry is a lion cub and goes on a lot of adventures throughout the book, which you will have to read the book to find out. Each page includes a bright picture of 'Harry' in a variety of situations all of which are eye catching to children. The illustration within the book are by Ian Kind. Each page has a simple rhyming sentence upon which is large and clear if your child is able to read alone.

This is a lovely book and shows a variety of everyday situations children are able to relate too. At the end of the book you are able to meet some of Harry’s friend who feature in future titles from Cheeky Harry & Friends.

Jack really enjoyed this story being read to him. He was able to turn each page himself as they are thick. We also used the book as a learning tool and teaching Jack some new words. Jack would point to individual objects upon the pages for me to say the word.

Please Note. This product was sent to me from Cheeky Harry and Friends for the purpose of this review, all opinions and wording are my own.

  1. I think it's a really good book for teaching a few new words and concepts :)

    1. I love all the images of animals too; Jack really likes animals. x
