So I've decided to add our wedding planning to the blog, I know as we get closer to the date I will want to talk about it lots, I also know some people love to nosey at wedding planning. Ashley and I got engaged back in August2009, which seems a lifetime away but it's almost been 4 years, we did plan on being married by now but so much has happened since then. Just before Christmas I was searching for something on Google, and I can't remember what, and a lovely local wedding venue popped up. I showed it to Ashley in hope but nothing came of it. Back in March this year Ashley randomly suggested we go and look at the venue and get some prices, of course I agreed! When we arrived at the venue, the gentleman on reception gave us some information and as it was quiet showed us around the venue, we instantly fell in love. When we got back to the reception he explained the available dates; the date we got together was free and falls on a Saturday in 2015 so we instantly booked, we hadn't looked at any other venues or even intended to book. So 28th March 2015 we shall be tying the knot at Hawkesyard Hall. We then got home and booked the registrar. Everything was coming together quickly, quicker than we ever expected. Within the following few days we had decided a colour scheme and started picking features. I then started looking at photographers and instantly fell in love with one ladies work. I continued to look at others but I just kept comparing them to the original ladies. I finally convinced Ashley and we set about meeting her. I had spoken to her a while before the meeting and she seemed a lovely lady, Ashley agreed. So after the meeting we paid a deposit and secured out photographer, Daffodil Waves. Since this we have only placed a deposit on our florist. I've taken a short break from planning as I want things to do within the future. I look forward to sharing all our future plans here on the blog.
