Vertbaudet Organic Boys Cardigan Review

Vertbaudet Organic Boys Cardigan Review
When we were asked if we would like to review an item from Vertbaudet's new range, I was over the moon.  Although Jack is 18months old, he's rather on the small side when it comes to clothes. However, I understand from previous experiences Vertbaudet clothing can come up a little smaller. I opted for 18m option as Jack is in 12-18month clothes so thought this would relate well.
Vertbaudet has been around for over 40 years and is a firm favourite with parents throughout France. Vertbaudet first launched within the UK in 1997, they have quickly become a British favourite too. I often looked at Vertbaudet when pregnant, however I never needed the maternity clothes, so purchased a few baby clothes. One thing I love about Vertbaudet is their wide range of tiny baby clothes as not many stores stock these.
I had no idea what I was receiving from Vertbaudet so when the parcel arrived, I couldn't wait to see what I received. However, the parcel was too neatly wrapped for me to want to open it. When I finally opened it, I noticed I had received a lovely Cardigan from the Organic Collection in light taupe.  I've never really been allowed to buy cardigans for Jack since he has grown up.
Ideal from birth, this cardigan in jersey knit with garter stitch trims will wrap baby up nice and snug... whilst caring for the planet!
The Cardigan is made from 100% organic cotton jersey, and features buttons which ensure it is easy to slip onto your child.
Vertbaudet Respect: This item is made from organic cotton, a natural material grown without the use of pesticides or chemicals. Let's work together to respect the planet!
This cardigan retails at £14.00 and is available in a range of three colours, and a wide range of sizes starting at 45cm. A donation of 25p plus VAT will go to Tommy's, to help fund their research into premature, stillbirth and miscarriage.
So what did we make of this cardigan? Well I thought it was great quality and excellent value for money, its hard to come by lovely cardigans for little boys, Vertbaudet do a large range. It is machine washable and washes and dries lovely. I found the small buttons a little difficult with a very fidgety child, however I feel with a newborn this would be easily achieved. The cardigan fitted snug, and I feel it would give newborns lots of comfort. Overall, I am impressed and although our next baby is not yet in planning I will more than likely save this when Jack has outgrown it.
Please Note. I received this product from Vertbaudet however, all opinions and wording are my own
