OXO Good Grips Corer Review.
Recently we were sent an OXO Good Grips Corer for review, with everything which has been happening within our personal lives I have only just got round to writing this, one week late. However, this corer has become a godsend to us, especially for snack times. But the main thing it has been helpful for is when cooking. If your using apples in cooking your always required to core the apple, now I know there are many ways to do this without a corer, I'm sure I've tried them all but the Corer made the job a lot easier and quicker.
The OXO Good Grips Corer was simple and comfortable to use, you simply place it within the centre of the apple and push it in. The corer has a serrated edge at the bottom which ensures it cuts easily along with it being made from stainless steel ensuring it glides through the fruit. The Corer also features a soft, comfortable handle which absorbs all of the pressure when pressing on it. When you remove the corer which again is simple, you are easily able to remove the core.
We have used this corer on both apples and pears, and both were simple enough to remove the core from, this we found useful for snack-time as Jack obviously is unable to eat around any fruit. We also do a lot of cooking with apples which require us to peel and core the apples. Normally this would take a while to do as you would slice the apple then remove the seeds. However, using the corer made this task a lot simpler an a lot quicker.
The OXO Good Grips Corer is Dishwasher Safe and is priced at £6.00, I feel this is an excellent price for a really useful household product.
