Dettol's Anti-Bacterial Laundry Cleanser
Do you wash your laundry on a low temperature to help the environment and save money?
Well, Dr Pixie McKenna is backing a new healthy laundry campaign which is aimed at raising parents' awareness of hygiene issues associated with low-temperature washing. New research has found bacteria linking to faeces was found on 1 in 4 items of clean laundry which was washed at

Personally I do get confused when clothes and laundry detergents say they can clean as low as 30°C, my own washer only goes to 40°C lowest, which until a few months ago was the setting I always used. I then upped my wash to 60°C to ensure my clothes were getting a good wash and bacteria removed and bed linen washed at 90°C.
I was sent a bottle of Dettol Antibacterial Laundry Cleanser for review which is an additive that kills 99.9% of bacteria, even below 30°C giving confidence your laundry is hygienically clean. I am now back to washing at 40°C with the confidence my laundry is coming out as clean as at a 60°C wash.

The Dettol Anti-Bacterial Laundry Cleanser is available from all major supermarkets with an RRP of £4.59.

Below I have included a promotial video by Dr. Pixie McKenna showcasing the product.
