Just two days ago I was wondering if we were going to get snow this winter. I know realistically we never get snow at Christmas, but surely in the winter would be a good move. I was speaking with my mum about this where she joked it would come in March, which this year would be no worry, but next year would.
This time last year we were unaware of the snow which was about to fall within the next week. This was when Jack experienced his first snow day. The country ground to a standstill, whilst many of us, myself included, still had the dreaded task of attempting to get to work.
According to Ladbrokes, there is a 12/1 chance of snow within the upcoming week, so that makes it possible more miserable weather is due to descent upon the UK. The 12/1 chance is that snow will fall anywhere in the UK before the end of this week. After the weather we have already had during 2014, it's now odds on at 4/5 that 2014 may be the wettest year on record, only 7 days in.!
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes says 'The odds suggest a White Christmas might be making a late appearance this winter.' So falling in with last winter really, huh? Maybe we should move Christmas to January?
My only thoughts is, surely from all of this cold, wet and windy weather we are currently getting, surely we are in for an amazing summer?
What are your thoughts on the current weather predicaments?
