Wedding Reveal #1

It's now 11 months until Ashley and I get married - I cannot wait to finally be his wife. So I've decided each month to do a little reveal into our wedding. Revealing little touches, our suppliers and anything else related.
So reveal number 1 is our venue, Hawkesyard Estate. This is a beautiful venue, I fell in love with it the moment I saw a photo of it. When we originally got engaged back in 2009 we visited a variety of wedding fayres held at different venues and locations there were some truly stunning ones, but thinking back none which match Hawkesyard.

I saw an image of this venue pop up on my Facebook page or Google, I'm not entirely sure now but I found myself keep looking at it. Eventually I found out the name of the venue then found myself browsing their website. Back in March last year Ashley made a spare of the moment decision to go and look at the venue and get some prices. We weren't intending to get married anytime soon but it would give us an idea.

So we went to the venues reception where we were greeted by Andrew, a coordinator at the venue. He was very helpful and showed us around the same day. We visited all of the different ceremony rooms, walked around the beautiful grounds, viewed the gold course and of course the bridal suite.

After looking around, to which it was gorgeous and none of the photos do it justice, we went to get some prices and date ideas. Not long later it ended up we had booked our wedding - there and then spare of the moment. Well provisionally booked as we needed to check a registrar was free, of course 2 years ahead the date was free. We were officially getting married, I was officially a bride-to-be.

So here it is...
