We have visited the National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham on a number of occasions now, and we did again on the weekend for the first time with Isla.
A new event started this weekend being the Octonauts Training Academy and is staying until the 7th November 2015.
So during our visit we got to see all that the Sea Life has to offer, which Jack fully enjoyed as well as experience the new event.
Upon our arrival at the entrance Jack was given a mission sheet with a selection of stickers to place upon each completed mission, there were six to complete. We had a quick look what they were and then headed off to complete them.
To complete the missions was simple, you simply needed to read the boards or do a small activity to gain your sticker. Nice and simple for a 3 year old, who had great fun searching out the different boards. As you go round, some of the boards have fun facts on about sea animals such as 'An octopus has 3 hearts and blue blood' which I didn't know.
Half way around there is Tweaks Craft Zone where the children can have a rest and take part in some colouring activities. After this was the cinema in which Jack went in for the first time ever. He really enjoyed it, I had to leave as Isla wasn't keen on the loud noises. Then at the end of the journey there was an opportunity to meet an Octonaut, for us it was Peso, but not long after Captain Barnacles came out.
Please Note: We received a complimentary family pass, all words and opinions are my own and not influenced in anyway.
