Ormrod Astro Limina Floor Lamp Review

Since we moved last August we've been trying to purchase little pieces to make our house more of a home. We are finally going to decorate this summer which I think will help but one thing we were desperate to get were some additional lights including floor lights. I firmly believe that getting the right lighting can set a good mood, and sometimes all that requires is a small bit of light.

Recently I was contacted by Ormrod to see if I would like to review the Astro Limina from the website and I knew it would be perfect to add a bit of light to our landing.

The children's bedroom is furthest from the bathroom so getting there in the winter months Jack found a little difficult so we knew we needed to get a lamp for there, however its a very narrow space so finding a floor lamp was a little difficult. When the Astro Limina arrived I knew this was the perfect light for this space.

The light itself is quite small being just 17cm high and having a diameter of 14cm. Initially I did think a light this small wouldn't produce that much light however when using it for the first time I was pleasently surprised. It comes supplied with a GU10 bulb which gives plenty of light off. It was well packaged and pre-assembled just needing the bulb added so we were ready to go in seconds.
The lamp has a small on off switch on the cable meaning you can easily switch on and off.

We have this lamp on our landing but I have also read that it is suitable for use within a bathroom (zone 3) and can be painted if following instructions too, meaning you could create a different look.

We have found this to be a perfect lamp for adding in some final details, and will continue to leave it in the landing even after we decorate.

Please Note: We were provided this light free of charge in exchange for an honest and open review. All views and opinions are my own and not influenced in any way.
