Eating together as a family is something I love doing, although now Jack is at school this has become a little difficult. Meal times we all spend together enjoying our food together and talking about our days, most of the time. Since Jack has started school and both children are back into their earlier sleeping pattern the children eat together whilst I eat a little later. However I still sit with them at the table to enjoy the time together.
But sometimes life gets in the way when we are busy with work or keeping on top of everything else, family meals can easily get forgotten. Recently HiPP Organic conducted research and found that when it comes to family meal times, almost 90% of parents said it was important. However, only 25% actually manage to sit down and eat together 1-2 times a week. They also found that The British roast dinner came out as a firm family favourite (42%), with curry (15%) and pasta dishes (13%) closely following behind.
I'm actually not surprised that roast dinner came out on top, its one almost all families seem to sit and eat together, and it one of our favourites here too, followed by anything containing pasta.
HiPP Organic tray meals fit in perfect with family meal times, as sometimes you want your child to have something quick or not as spicy as what your having and with the quick meals from HiPP you can still all enjoy family meal times.
