Fisher Price BeatBelle | A Review

Do you remember BeatBo from last year? BeatBo was named as one of the must have toys of Christmas 2015. I remember last year they quickly sold out, then they were being sold for ridiculous amounts on eBay. Well now there is a new kid in town, his sister! In the form of BeatBelle.

I've mentioned before that both of my children absolutely love all things musical especially when they can control it themselves, so I knew BeatBelle would be a great addition to our family.

BeatBelle arrives in a large box but is really simple to get out simply twisting three plastic screws underneath, and she comes with batteries so instant playing. There are three different playing modes which grow with your baby - Dance 'n Move, Learning and Games and Sing-Along.

There are different songs within the modes which as your child gets older you can join in with such as freeze dance (you freeze when the music stops) and when Belle kindly tells you to jump up, clap your hands and such. But you can also just do your own moves along to the music whilst younger too. Along with the different modes you can also press her highly colourful tummy too and she will say a range of phrases.

Our little BeatBelle has not only been a big hit with Isla but also with Jack too. Of course, he instantly found the record button and proceeded to say silly things into it then laughing when it repeated them, thats older boys for you!

As well as the musical aspect BeatBelle encourages learning too in the form of introducing colours, letters, counting and music to your child as well as learning cause and effect too.

We have loved BeatBelle and would definitely recommend her to others, shes very bright and robust. The tunes are actually quite catchy, you can take that as good or annoying but I don't mind them constantly being pressed when playing. I have found that Isla is able to press the buttons and play with this herself which is always a bonus whilst keeping her entertained afterwards too. Isla is just over 12 months now and enjoying both looking at the colours upon the screen as well as dancing along to the tunes, but there is still so much more she can get from this as she gets older such as the educational parts.

BeatBelle is currently priced with an RRP of £39.99, but is often on discounts at various locations. Along with BeatBelle, you can still purchase BeatBo and there is also BeatBowWow added to the collection too.
