From Babies With Love - Organic Soft Toys | A Review

Tuesday, 25 October 2016
Ever since I stumbled across From Babies With Love one day, I've always loved their quirky designs and beliefs and also the fact they are organic. From Babies with Love supports orphaned and abandoned babies to live in SOS Children’s Villages. These children have lost their parents through war, famine, disease or poverty. SOS Children is a charity who creates communities for children who have nobody to turn to. The children are cared for by their SOS Mother; they live in family homes in the village with their SOS brothers and sisters. This enables children who would otherwise be left to fend for themselves, on the streets or in slums, to have a second chance in life. The children’s circumstances are not their fault, and by being loved, cared for and educated, they go on to lead independent lives, breaking the cycle of poverty.
To support this, they have an online shop in which all profits go to help the children around the world. Recently they launched a beautiful range of organic toys into the collection which are lovely for children of all ages.

There is a range of five within the range a duck, whale, jellyfish, stork and robot. We of course opted for the duck. Each of the designs have unique graphics which feature things to do with postage such as envelopes and postage marks resembling the fact that 100% of all profits goes to help these children. Each soft toy is made within Britain and each digitally printed onto GOTS certified organic cotton and filled with a fibre up cycled from drinks bottles, which in return reduces landfill.

Upon arrival of our gift, we were greeted with a beautiful drawstring bag which instantly caught my eye. Inside was our lovely duck organic toy and a greetings card, all of which come included within the price making it an ideal gift. The duck has been a huge hit here, and its the perfect size to just carry around and squishy enough to enjoy cuddles with.

I love the idea of buying just a beautiful present like I generally would I'm also helping another child who is in desperate need. A child who would get a lot of happiness from something like this.
