Brainbox Peppa Pig | A Review and #Win

Jack and Isla are still big Peppa Pig fans, who isn't these days? We've watched so many episodes over the years I hate to think how much time I've lost on that pig. But still, she gives some sanity. So when we heard about a new game from Brainbox based on one of their favourite characters, we were delighted to be able to give it a try.

Brainbox isn't a game brand I had previously heard of so wasn't really sure what to expect on arrival, but when it arrived Jack and I were surprised. The box was eye catching for him, whilst storing everything we would need for the game neatly inside.

The game is designed to help with observation and memory skills, whilst improving them along the way. The game is easy to understand, players simply take it in turns to study a card with a Peppa Pig scene on it before the sand goes through the timer, once the time is up the player rolls the dice. Another player then reads out the question corresponding with the number from the back of the card they were studying. If the player answers correctly they get to keep the card, otherwise it is returned to the bottom of the pile. You can play for as long as you wish although 10 minutes is recommended, at the end of the time, the player with the most cards is the winner.

However, we did find you can easily find ways to adapt this game, to single player, to lasting longer too. Jack had great fun studying the card then getting me to read all of the questions on the back for him to answer. He enjoyed doing it this way and I found it really helped him with his observation skills too.

I've been really impressed with this Brainbox game, and the overall quality of it. I think we will definitely be looking into getting some more of them.

I now have a great giveaway for you to win your own copy of Peppa Pig Brainbox game.
