Crafting with Elves at The Elves Workshop, Resorts World Birmingham | A Review

Since becoming a parent of two, the last thing I want to do is go Christmas shopping, not because of being a scrooge or anything. However, the thought of dragging them around the shops seems a nightmare, they are quick to get bored and the hustle and bustle is too much for me. I'd much rather do a mix of visiting the shops before it gets too busy then online shop after that. However, this weekend we visited Resorts World in Birmingham, and although it was full of festive shoppers it wasn't too crowded and the atmosphere was lovely.

Our purpose of visiting was to look at the Elves' Workshop which has been put up especially for the little ones amongst us. Its a perfect little getaway where the children can just let off some steam. As I mentioned taking them is stressful as they easily get bored so having somewhere like this is perfect for them. Bonus points if you take someone else with you who can sit in there with them whilst you shop.

Stepping into the Elves' Workshop is like stepping into a children festive paradise, there is so much for them to do whilst surrounded by so much festivity. There are toys to play with, activities to do, crafting, lots of crafting and books to read too. Then you have the elves on hand to help your children and interact with them too.

Now, my children are the least crafty when it comes to colouring, especially Jack but he still had so much fun, we came away with many a tree decoration and fridge magnet all decorated by themselves.

The Elves Workshop is located near Patisserie Valerie and is open every weekend from 10am until 6pm in the run up to Christmas.

Whilst at Resorts World, we also headed into Pixel and Vortex which are the entertainment areas with so much fun for both little kids and the big kids. There are many a different game and its virtual reality heaven in there. After a stressful day of shopping, its the perfect way to unwind.
