My Pocket Buddy

My Pocket Buddy

If you are a parent, or look after children you will know how important it is to keep their tiny hands clean. You may also know how difficult it sometimes can be to find suitable washing facilities when out and about. I know that I do, sometimes when they are available they can seem a bit grotty in which you don't wish to use them. I always carry a hand sanitiser around with me, but find that along with Hand Washing some can dry your hands out. That is where My Pocket Buddy is here to help.

My Pocket Buddy was created by Opure, and is an on the go hand sanitiser. Their aim to to provide a product which helps hand hygiene for both children and adults. They use natural products which are the finest and purest in which they are able to source. Opure state "The My Pocket Buddy® formulation is made from 100% natural ingredients, and is free of alcohol, parabens, toxins, synthetic fragrances and allergens. We do not use any animal derived ingredients and none of our products have been tested on animals." The My Pocket Buddy has been scientifically proven to kill 99.99% of germs, whilst also still being kind to your skin. It is an Alcohol free product which contains Aloe Vera, it is also Allergen Free. The materials which are used are all recyclable and Opure use recycled materials within their packaging so also helping the environment.

My Pocket Buddy sent me a 8ml Pen to test out, which I have been doing for the past week. The sanitiser comes in a handy 'pen size' which is easy to store and doesn't take up much room. I have been using this in both my handbag and the changing bag. As it has a clip it is easy to place it somewhere and not lose it. It would be easy to store in a child lunchbox too so they could use it before eating their school lunch. The spray is an easy to use product; you just press the button down and out comes the sanitiser. It took roughly two sprays for my adult hands, but I did test this out on both Jack and my cousin in which it only took one spray. On the packaging My Pocket Buddy states it has 75 sprays within the 8ml bottle. From my experience the children enjoyed having their hands sprayed with this, and upon asking a teacher whether she thinks it is a good product for lunchboxes I got a clear 'Yes' in response. There is a slight scent to the sanitiser but you are hardly able to smell it, and does not deter you away from using the sanitiser.

In my opinion this is a perfect product and is especially useful to younger children at school in which they would be able to store it within their lunchboxes, pencil cases, school bags or within their coats. It is really simple to use by children with a slight press on the button. One of the main things I like about this sanitiser, especially for children is that there is a space on the packaging in which you can write who the pen belongs too. This is especially useful for children at school if it gets lost.
