Memory Foam Mattress Topper Review.

Friday, 15 May 2015
A little while a go I was contacted and asked if I would like to review a memory foam mattress topper from Mattress Next Day. Now whilst my mattress is ok, I've only recently had a new one, my mums isn't, but with the house move and everything else, we just don't have the spare cash at the moment.
Mum has never really liked the idea of a memory foam mattress - neither did I at first. The adverts on the television make it seem your lying within the same position for the whole evening. I thought it would be a good way to prove to mum they are actually ok to sleep on, you can still move around.

So onto the mattress, it arrived on the chosen day for delivery, which would be next day if purchased online in time and you live in England, Wales and Southern Scotland. It arrived rolled upto into a small package, which makes for easy transport. When we took it out of the packaging and placed it onto the bed it took a little time to even out. The topper simply sits on top of your current mattress and then you place a bottom sheet over it.

"The Essential high density memory foam mattress topper is 2.5cm deep, and works to improve the comfort offered by your current mattress to help improve your night's sleep.
2.5cm Memory Foam Mattress Topper is available as foam only (no cover) and will perfectly slot neatly between your mattress and your bottom sheet, offering a layer of additional comfort.
The 2.5cm memory foam mattress topper uses your body temperature to mould to your body shape whilst you sleep, to ensure the perfect position for your body. The resulting pressure relief helps reduce tossing and turning for an improved night's sleep." Essentials V40 1 Topper.

I was keen to see if this would give my mum an improved night sleep, and luckily it did. She isn't the best of sleepers - especially not on her old mattress which isn't comfy. The topper makes the mattress seem more supportive and obviously more comfy then just the mattress alone. It quickly bounces back into shape, and doesn't leave lots of imprints of your position.
I am highly impressed with the quality of this topper and for the difference it has made to get a comfortable nights sleep. At the time of writing this review the mattress topper is currently on sale at just £29.99 for a double topper, with the usual price being just £59.99 it also comes in a single and kingsize. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a topper or anyone who needs a new mattress but cannot afford one at the moment, even just to add a little lease of life to your current mattress.

Please Note: I received this product free of charge for the purpose of this review, however this has not influenced my decision in any way.
