Enjoying Jigsaws with Ravensburger Puppy Dog Pals | A Review

Saturday, 1 September 2018
Jack has always had a great interest in puzzles, and I think the puzzle library they do within the school nursery really helped encourage this for Jack. Recently, Isla has started to show a great interest in puzzles where she would normally not be to bothered by them. We were sent the Puppy Dog Pals jigsaw from Ravensburger to try out and I thought it would be a great way to expand her puzzles.

The Ravensburger puzzle is of a Puppy Dog Pals theme and is aimed at children aged 3 and over, it consists of 24 pieces which are fairly large in size.

Isla has only been doing smaller piece puzzles that are for beginners so I was keen to see if she would be able to do this on her own or not. Initially, she asked for some help to complete it so I helped sort the straights from the middle and place a few and away she was, you know how parents have to be. Jack has also helped Isla with the puzzle and between them, they've built it together which was encouraging for Isla.

As with all Ravensburger puzzles the build quality was amazing and as expected and as with all puzzles, the pieces can only fit in the correct place so it was encouraging and helpful for her to achieve alone. As the puzzle is aimed at younger children, the pieces are large and made from stronger thicker pieces to ensure they don't break easily.

Both Jack and Isla have loved this puzzle and building it, and its encouraged a lot of learning and development for Isla ready for starting nursery this September. Jigsaws are great for learning and development in younger children.

Please Note: We received this puzzle in exchange for an honest review, all views and opinions are my own and not influenced in any way.
