Baby Shark Let's Go Hunt and Wooden Puzzle | A Review and Giveaway

Tuesday, 16 July 2019
Do you remember a time before 'Baby Shark'? No, me neither. It's been just over a year since, Pinkfong and Baby Shark took over the planet. I remember going for a job interview and the children singing it there and dancing away.
Over a year on and its still a huge hit everywhere!

Recently, we were given the opportunity to review two new games from Pinkfong Baby Shark - Let's Go Hunt and a Wooden puzzle.

Let's Go Hunt Fishing Game.

Let's Go Hunt, Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo!

This fishing game feature four cute character hooks, which are sharks - which of course we named Mummy, Daddy, Grandma and Baby Shark. These are then used to collect the fish with your themed rod, with the player with the most fish being the winner!

Isla found the fish quite hard to catch as she couldn't quite grasp the idea of the game, however the board does move around slowly to enable the catching easier. Once we showed her the idea of the game she soon picked it up and was able to play.

As the game spins, it plays the baby shark song, which when your child wants to play it constantly, can become a little repetitive. The game comes with a motorised game board, 15 coloured fish, 4 fishing poles and an instruction sheet. 2 x AA batteries are required to play the game which aren't supplied.

The game recommends two to four players, aged four and up. This was Isla's favourite of the two games we received.

Wooden Sound Puzzle.

This wooden puzzle is recommended for ages 2 plus, but was still enjoyed by Isla at just turned 4. It is a simple wooden puzzle in which you place the correct wooden shark into the correct place. What makes the puzzle that little bit extra special is when you place the character in the correct place, the corresponding part of the song plays. For instance, 'Mommy Shark' plays when you put the pink shark in place.

The puzzle requires 3 x AAA batteries to play the song, but it does work without them too, it obviously just doesn't play the song. The puzzle is perfect to encourage those fine motor skills.
